A FLY540 DASH8 300 aircraft on Friday made an emergency landing at Kapese Airstrip in Turkana.

According to a press release issued by the company, the aircraft was forced to land at 9.54am after it was struck by a suspected foreign object that led to an engine failure.

The Captain then declared an emergency landing and there were no injuries.
The company stated that the incident will lead to delays in services over the next few days.
