Coronavirus: British OAP dies after 'only leaving house once a week for food'

A British pensioner has died from coronavirus after only leaving her house once a week for food.
Son Jeff Howes has been left "heartbroken" after losing his mum, 87, to the global pandemic.
In a viral post on Facebook, which has been shared over 50,000 times, Mr Howes said his mum had contracted the deadly virus after only leaving her home for an hour a week "to go shopping".
He's now warning the nation to follow strict Government advice and stay at home.

He wrote: "Feeling heartbroken, please share this far and wide, we have just lost our lovely mum to the corona virus.
"She was 87, the reason I want to post this is because my mum left her house once a week for about an hour, to go shopping.
"So for those people who think they can ignore the governments advice, and go swanning around thinking it won’t happen to them, it will.
Jeff has urged people to stay at home
"If my mum can contract it, in one hour, whilst shopping, then everybody is vulnerable.
"Please please please be sensible, and take care, so more people don’t have to go through the heartache that me and my family are going through now. RIP Mum love you."
Thousands of well-wishers have shared the post since it was uploaded on Tuesday afternoon.
His post has been shared more than 50,000 times
One person wrote: "What a tragedy, how very sad to lose your lovely mum to this awful virus. My condolences to you and your family, stay safe."
Another added: "So glad you wrote this as it crossed my mind to do a quick small shop, sorry for your loss."
A third person said: "So sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing to put the point across to isolate."
It comes as the World Health Organisation (WHO) warned that the coronavirus pandemic is accelerating around the world.
In a bid to stop it spreading, prime minister Boris Johnson declared a "moment of national emergency" on Monday night.
Brits were ordered to go into lockdown in order to protect those most vulnerable.
Now people are only allowed to leave their home for once a day for essential supplies, daily exercise, medical care or "absolutely necessary" work.
Thousand of people have shared the advice
All shops selling "non-essential goods", playgrounds, libraries and churches have also been closed.
In the televised address, the PM said: "From this evening I must give the British people a very simple instruction, you must stay at home.
"Without a huge national effort to halt the growth of this virus, there will come a moment when no health service in the world could possibly cope; because there won't be enough ventilators, enough intensive care beds, enough doctors and nurses.
Brits have been urged to keep their distance in supermarkets
"To put it simply, if too many people become seriously unwell at one time, the NHS will be unable to handle it, meaning more people are likely to die.

How to renew your driving license online

One of the most important documents any motorist in transit is required to have worldwide is a driving license.  In Kenya, police stop hundreds of motorists every day and ask for the driving license. For motorists who haven’t carried their licenses, hefty fines are incurred and sometimes might end in court.  However, most motorists forget to check the expiry dates for the driving licenses. If it so happens that your license has expired, the police will still fine you. Renewing licenses was hectic in the past. Motorists would have to queue for long at the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to either get their licenses or for renewal purposes.  The good news is; you can now renew your driving license from the comfort of your location as long as you can access the internet.  The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has made it easy for motorists to renew their licenses online, and the process will take you about 10 minutes.  Here’s how to ren...
